2021 年よりベルギー国立管弦楽団コンサートマスター。これまでにゲスト・コンサートマスターとしてベルギー王立歌劇場オーケストラ、ブリュッセル・フィルハーモニック、ボルドー・アキテーヌ国立管弦楽団に招待される。2017 年より 2年間、フランス国立音楽院オーケストラでコンサート・ミストレスを務めた。

国内外の国際コンクールにおいて、東京音楽コンクール第 3 位、アンリ・マルトー国際コンクール第 2 位及びモーツァルト演奏特別賞、ロン・ティボー・クレスパン国際コンクールにてブーレーズ作品演奏特別賞、ヴァルナ国際コンクール第 1 位などの実績を収める。ソリストとして新日本フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、パリ音楽院オーケストラ、フランス国立音楽院オーケストラ、ベルギー国立管弦楽団と共演。

室内楽では、編成を問わずヨーロッパ各地で演奏している。サロン・ド・プロヴァンス室内楽音楽祭（フランス）では、エリック・ルサージュ、ゴルダン・ニコリッチ、フランク・ブラレイ、ズヴィ・プレッサー、エマニュエル・パユらと共演。2022 年 5 月にはベルギー国立管弦楽団の首席奏者で結成した弦楽四重奏団で、ベルギー国王・女王陛下のギリシャ訪問に際して御前演奏を行った。

3 歳よりヴァイオリンを始める。桐朋女子高等学校音楽科、桐朋学園大学音楽学部を経て、フランス・パリ国立高等音楽院(CNSMDP)第一および第二課程を審査員称賛付き満場一致の首席で卒業。同音楽院第三課程(アーティストディプロマ)を修了したのち、ケルン音楽大学Konzertexamen 課程で研鑽、最優秀の成績で修了。

石井志都子、景山誠治、ジェラール・プーレ、ロラン・ドガレイユ、ミハエラ・マルティンに師事。またイタリア・クレモナ Accademia Walter Stauffer にてサルヴァトーレ・アッカルドの薫陶を受ける。これまでにZilber Vatelot Rampal 財団から楽器貸与、Adami 財団から奨学援助を受ける。

Misako Akama, Japanese-origin violinist, started her career as Concertmaster of Belgian National Orchestra in 2021. 

She has been regularly invited as a guest-concertmaster from La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra , Brussels Philharmonic (Belgium) and Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine (France). Before, she was concertmaster of Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire (France) for 2 years, during her study period.

Prize-winner at several international violin competitions such as Tokyo Music competition (3rd Prize, in 2008), Henri Marteau (2nd Prize, and Special Prize for Mozart’s best interpretation, in 2014), Long Thibaud Crespin (Special Mention for the best interpretation of the work by P.Boulez, in 2014) and Varna (1st prize, in 2015). As a soloist, she has played with orchestras such as New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire and Belgian National Orchestra. 

She is an avid chamber music lover and interested in playing diverse formations. She has collaborated with renowned musicians, such as Nobuko Imai, Éric Le Sage, Gordan Nikolitch, Emmanuel Pahud, Zvi Plesser and Frank Braley, among others.

Misako started playing violin at the age of 3. After studying at TOHO Gakuen School of Music, she entered Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) to the class of Roland Daugareil in 2013. She received the degree of Bachelor and Master with honors and praises by the jury, then carried on her study in Artist Diploma (Diplôme d’Artiste Interprète). In 2021, she finished her study with Mihaela Martin at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, and obtained Konzertexamen degree “with distinction”. 

Her study was supported by Zilber Vatelot Rampal Foundation and ADAMI foundation in France.

Misako Akama, violoniste d’origine japonaise, est la Konzertmeisterin au Belgian National Orchestra depuis 2021.

Attirée par l’immense répertoire et le métier enrichissant, Misako a débuté la carrière du Konzertmeister à l’Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire (France) de 2017 à 2019.En tant que Konzertmeister invité, elle joue regulièrement au sein des orchestres comme l’Orchestre Symphonique de La Monnaie, le Brussels Philharmonic et l’Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine.

Elle est lauréate des concours internationaux comme Henri Marteau (le 2ème prix, et le prix spécial pour la meilleure interprétation de W.A.Mozart), Long Thibaud Crespin (mention spéciale pour la meilleure interprétation de l’oeuvre de P.Boulez) et Varna (le 1er prix).Elle s’est produite en soliste avec les orchestres tels que le New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, l’Orchestre des Lauréats du conservatoire et le Belgian National Orchestra.

Misako est une chambriste passionnée et intéressée par diverses formations. Elle a eu la chance de collaborer avec des artistes comme Nobuko Imai, Éric Le Sage, Gordan Nikolitch, Emmanuel Pahud, Zvi Plesser ou encore Frank Braley.

Misako joue du violon depuis l’âge de 3 ans. Après avoir étudié à TOHO Gakuen School of Music jusqu’en 2013, elle s’est intégrée au CNSM de Paris dans la classe de Roland Daugareil, Christophe Poiget et Suzanne Gessner. Après avoir obtenu son Licence et Master avec la meilleure récompense, elle a poursuivi le Diplôme d’Artiste Interprète. Ses études à Paris ont été soutenues notamment par la Fondation Zilber-Vatelot-Rampal.

En 2021, elle obtient son diplôme de Konzertexamen “avec distinction” à la Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, où elle a suivi l’enseignement de Mihaela Martin.
